The South Rhine Uniting Church closed in April (Anzac Day) of 2010, and concern was expressed at that ceremony about the ongoing life of the Cemetery after the church property was sold.
A group of 27 individuals signed a form expressing interest in becoming “The Friends of The South Rhine Cemetery”; with a view to forming an incorporated society to assist the curator to maintain and improve the site.
This WebSite is the focus of that group, and may be used by any interested persons to contact the Society, and to keep track of any developments at the cemetery.
